Scan n cut

I have been playing with my scan n cut machine and canvas. I am really enjoying having a go at creating my own projects. this is what I made in the last few days with simple basic shapes and letters. Not perfect but happy with my finished projects.

Letterpress flower

Today I am posting a card I made a little while ago.
I started off with a 6x6 base card, using a tattered lace pearl square die I made my first layer. My second layer is a pindot die also from tattered lace., I added gold thread at two corners to add dimension. I used a todo  letterpress die to create my circle which I cut out using a tattered lace pindot die. My flower topper was using a todo letterpress die which I inked onto my circle mat then inked again and cut out using the flower die to match. I finished with a sentiment from tattered lace.

With Love

I recently purchased a Todo, mainly I bought it for the foiling but soon I was using it for die cutting and letter pressing.
I used the secret garden letterpress to create my first layer, I then used the decorative oval die to cut this out using the waste to create my border this was then placed onto mirri card. My second layer was done using the foiling technique using the same collection. My top layer was also foiled using a sentiment from my Tonic die stash. I used the decorative oval dies to cut out my layers before placeing them onto my card.

Hello and welcome

Hello and welcome to my new blog. My posts will be of my card creations among other craft items.
My first post today is of samples I made recently for Tattered Lace http://www.crafting.co.uk/. They are men's cards, which if I am honest I find difficult to do but these I found really easy when combined with backgrounds from my stash of my craft studio cd's.
